It’s true that our community goes all out for Independence Day, with parades, cruises, music, festivals, and plenty of good old-fashioned family fun at every turn. At Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary, we know our neighbors in El Cerrito, Berkeley, and Oakland anticipate this beloved summertime holiday as much as we do!
Our professional staff is ready to celebrate with a bang and has been on the look-out for the best activities and offerings in the area. We’ve been part of this community for generations, getting our start as a small country cemetery back in 1908. Over the years, our Sunset View family has enjoyed revisiting old traditions and embracing new experiences, and we would encourage you to do the same! Here are a few options to consider:
1. City of El Cerrito WorldOne 4th of July Festival

Two locations: At the end of Municipal Pier and in front of Pier 39
