Thomas Addison Sebree of Lafayette, CA, passed away January 19, 2024. He was 82 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Noreen Kellogg Sebree (Cook) and his three children,
Cindy Sebree Fasiano (Greg), Michael Sebree (Tina) and Jennifer Sebree Robinson (Ron). He
was “Grandpa” to his six grandchildren, Drew Fasiano (Julie), Jase Fasiano, Claire Sebree, Patrick
Sebree, Katie Robinson and Megan Robinson. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bruce
Williamson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda
Wallace Williamson (Sebree).
Tom was born on January 26, 1941, in Oakland to James Knox Sebree and Ruth Roberta Sebree
(Thomson) and grew up in the Berkeley Hills. He attended Berkeley High School and San
Francisco State. He established and ran Tom A. Sebree and Associates wholesale gift business for
60 years which took him up and down the Pacific Coast as well as trips to Asia. He was a fixture
at the San Francisco gift shows and had a very loyal group of clients that appreciated his work
ethic, honesty and kindness.
In 1967, he married Noreen. They moved to Moraga where they raised their three children and
participated in many school and community activities. After 30 years, they moved up to
Placerville, eventually returning to the Bay Area and settling in Lafayette. Tom enjoyed fishing
and playing golf and was a life-long Cal Bears and Raiders fan. He and Noreen enjoyed taking
cruises and traveled many places with family and friends, most notably Carmel, Hawaii and
Scotland. He was a wonderful father, and loved being a grandfather to his six grandchildren. He
was always there on the sports sidelines and front-row center at their performances and
recitals. His most treasured times were sharing vacations at the family cabin in Tahoe and Fallen
Leaf Lake.
Tom had a quiet and loving demeanor and spirit and was a man of deep faith. He was a
member of Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and later, Community Presbyterian Church in
Danville where he forged many new friendships in the congregation and bible study group.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
