Resident of Martinez

Born and raised in Cyprus, Sotos came to the U.S.A. at 17 and received his PhD degree in Political Science. His love for the restaurant business led him to be an entrepreneur.
He opened THE SAVOY in Pleasant Hill, CA in 1977. His pride and joy was running it with his family by his side.

Sotos is preceded in death by his wife, Ellie, and son, Billy. He is survived by his daughters, Margarita (Scott) and Miranda (Mike) and his grandchildren, Sam (Amanda), Michael, Nico and Sophia and great-grandson, Jace, and his niece, Myra, and many more nieces and nephews.

We will miss his loving and caring ways. With everlasting love, your family.

Trisagion/Eulogy at Sunset View Cemetery, 101 Colusa Ave. El Cerrito, CA, Sunday, June 12, 2 – 4 pm followed by service 4 – 5 PM.
Funeral on Monday, June 13, at 10 AM at Ascension Cathedral, 4700 Lincoln Ave. in Oakland, CA.
