Our dearly beloved patriarch Sonny Chan Go joined our Heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family as he drew his final breath on June 29, 2024, Saturday at 8:30AM.
Born out of the ashes of the war – he and his siblings were born in the stretch of World War II – he had, early on, dealt with loss, hardship, poverty, and tragedy. These didn’t stop him from making something of himself, rise above misfortune and thrive in life.
A gentle strength, a secular spirituality and a big heart informed the way he lived his life. Now that heart is put to rest at last after accepting the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife Luz, children Sonny Jr., Shai, Sheena, and Sharmaine, son-in-law Dan, and granddaughters Zoe and Neo.
