Shou Peng Lin

2022年3月19日星期六,慈祥的丈夫、父亲、祖父、
曾祖父、林寿澎在家人的陪伴下安详离世,享年90
岁。
寿澎于1931年4月22日出生于中国广东珠海中山,父
亲林昌澄和母亲李茹珍、刘⺠生 。
他毕业于广州市一中,1951-1958年加入文工团并
成 为首席小提琴手。1959年10月1日,他与劳惠芳
结婚,育有儿子林康,女儿小桦、小珊。其间,他于
1958年至1989年在广州钢铁厂担任多个管理层职
务。
在1989年,寿澎退休后移居美国加州和子女一起居
住、继续他作为小提琴家的热情,教授小提琴和听古
典音乐。寿澎在业余时间帮助家庭生意,并喜欢宠爱
他的4个孙仔孙女。
寿澎留下他的夫人慧芳,儿子林康、 女 儿小桦、小
珊、孙仔炜焱、伟健、孙女蕴祺、蕴利和曾孙女金
玲。
林寿鹏我们亲爱的父亲、祖父,曾祖父,虽然您不爱言
辞,不爱张扬,却在我们心中树起一座丰碑,我们永远怀
念您……

On March 19, 2022, Shou Peng Lin, loving husband, father of
three, grandfather of four, and great-grandfather of one,
passed away peacefully at the age of 90 while surrounded by
his family.
Shou Peng was born on April 22, 1931 in Zhuhai Guangdong
China to Chang Cheng Lin and Ru Zhen Li, and raised by Wen
Sheng Liu. He graduated from No. 1 High School in Guangzhou
and was a concertmaster violinist from 1951 to 1958. He then
held multiple lead positions at the Guangzhou Iron and Steel
Mills from 1958 to 1989. On October 1, 1959, he married Hui
Fang Lao and raised three children.
In 1989, Shou Peng retired to the United States and continued
his passion in music by teaching violin and enjoying classical
music. During his spare time Shou Peng helped the family
business and enjoyed spoiling his four grandchildren.
Shou Peng was preceded by his father (Chang Cheng), his
mothers (Ru Zhen and Wen Sheng), and his seven siblings.
Shou Peng is survived by his wife (Hui Fang Lao), children
(Laura, Xiao Shan, and Kang), grandchildren (Jenny, Winly,
Brandon, and Patrick), and great-grandchild (Hailey).
Shou Peng Lin will live forever in our hearts.
