Ronald A. Meux, 81, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at his daughter’s home in San Francisco surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elvira and his daughter Maya.
A talented artist, musician and audiophile he had numerous hobbies included boating, golfing and birdwatching. His latest project was a movie about the Delta, a subject near and dear to his heart. In recent months he spent a lot of time with his friends at the Antioch Golf Course.
Ronald was a true renaissance man and he will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:30 PM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment to follow.
All of the Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center staff will miss Ron. He engaged so many of us daily and lifted us up. All your golfing friends will miss you Ron.
We enjoyed several interesting evenings, dining with Mr.& Mrs. Meux at Leo & Dalia Surgalia's home. A very charming gentleman, witty and funny, he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to have known him. Our hearts go out to Elvira and all his family. We hold you all in prayer.
