Passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 in El Cerrito, at 66 years of age. A native of Berkeley and life-long resident of El Cerrito. Survived by her daughters, Carri Catilus and her husband, Chuck of Roseville, Kristen Thorsen and her husband, Jarle of Martinez, and Sara Montoya and her husband, Johnny of El Cerrito; former husband, Bruce Nelson of St. Helena; sisters, Kay Peterson and her husband, Jerry of Santa Rosa, and Patricia Lavezzi and her husband, Robert of Sacramento; and grandchildren, Kylie, CK, Bjorn, Kate, Ella, Elisa, Gavin, and Luci. Roberta was a 1965 graduate of El Cerrito High School.
