In Loving Memory of Peter Vasdekis
December 12, 1936 – March 16, 2026
With full hearts and deep love, we honor the life of Petros (Peter) Vasdekis,
who passed at the age of 89.
Peter was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud restaurateur whose warmth and
personality made everyone feel like family. Over the course of his life, he owned several
restaurants, each one a reflection of his passion, hospitality, and love for bringing people
together. For 60 beautiful years, he shared an extraordinary love story with his beloved
wife, Aliky, a bond built on loyalty, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Known for his sharp wit and unforgettable sense of humor, Peter had a way of lighting up
every room. He was fun-loving, quick with a joke, and naturally charismatic, someone people
were drawn to and never forgot.
He found his greatest joy in the open sea, the ocean reflected his spirit: free, adventurous,
and full of life.
Above all else, Peter was an extraordinary husband and father. His love was steadfast, his
presence reassuring, and his devotion to his family unshakeable. He leaves behind his
beloved wife, Aliky, and their children, Alexander and Theana; his daughter-in-law,
Kristine; his sister, Ketty; his brother, George; Aliky’s beloved brother, Dimitri; and his
treasured nephews Nick and Aleko, and nieces Irene, Alexandra, and Melanie, who will
continue to honor his love and legacy.
Peter leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and a life beautifully lived.
He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
