Peter Adjuder, 75, of Richmond, California, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in the comfort of his home. He was born on June 29, 1942 in Trinidad to the parents of Balkaran and Rita Adjuder. Peter is survived by his former wives Youndai and Edna; three sons, Balkaran Adjuder, Nicholas Adjuder and Khamraj Adjuder. Also three grandchildren, Dajah Adjuder, Brandon Adjuder and Jadyn Adjuder. Peter also is survived by his two sisters, Shirley Thibeaux, Gloria Watkins and brother-in-law Mike Watkins, and brother Paul Ahjuder and sister in-law Debbie Ahjuder.
Peter Adjuder retired from the City of Richmond where he was recognized for his work in a myriad of positions. Peter would wake up everyday to attend work and enjoyed working for the City of Richmond and loved joking and telling stories of his life growing up in the Caribbean. Peter loved good caribbean music and food.
Peter was in the Merchant Marine as a young teenager, He sailed the world and went to every continent and had a story for every place he went to. He basically grew up on the ship into an adult. Working on the ship made him a hard worker and he brought that proud work ethic to the Bay Area and started a family.
