Oriene Weeks was born Oriene Marion Walker April 5th, 1930. Oriene was an actual El Cerrito native,  born within the city of El Cerrito at the Walker Home. Oriene passed peacefully at 96, surrounded by love at her own home in El Cerrito. 

 She is preceded by her husband Mark’s passing in 2008. Oriene is survived by daughters, Sheila, Debbie and Sandy. Oriene was blessed with many Grand and Great-Grandchildren

 Oriene loved art, participated in many local art festivals and had the opportunity to share her art work with a Northern California gallery on the ocean, in Shelter Cove. She worked at the Cerrito Theater in El Cerrito when she was 16, and later, distribution companies and promotions companies. 

 Donations to your favorite charity in her honor would be greatly appreciated.

The family wishes to thank Sutter Hospice, the Caregivers, as well as Friends and Family for their support.
