Nora Seban was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend.Nora, 46, of Martinez, California, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

She was born on December 10, 1973 in San Pablo, California, the daughter of Edmundo and Mary Seban.Nora was a fun and kind person who loved her iced mochas and when her father cooked her rib eye steaks. She always greeted visitors with a big smile that could fill a room.

Nora lived with spina bifida but that did not stop her from achieving her high school diploma from John Swett High School or living independently for many years. She enjoyed participating in many of the ALIVE program events that explored the Bay Area. And, she always made time to watch her favorite show Grey’s Anatomy.

Nora’s parents adored her and spent every Sunday bringing her home cooked meals. They always wanted the best for her and glowed in her presence.

Nora is survived by her father, Edmundo Seban; mother, Mary Seban; brother, Louis Maurer; sister, Rose Maurer; brother, Edmond Seban; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be celebrated at Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530 on Friday, August 14th at 10:30 AM.

Arrangements are under the care of Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary, El Cerrito, CA.

My husband and I put our beloved daughter. nora Seban into God's loving care today. He allowed us 46 years of time with her, then took her to rest in heaven with him. We thank him for the time he allowed us to have her. We would like to all those who knew Nora and were kind to her during her lifetime. Her father and I look forward to meeting with in heaven.

My sister, Nora celebrated my 60th birthday with me on July 1st. Surprising me by sitting in her chair. She was so excited. We shared a chocolate cupcake. (Her favorite). My gift from Nora (and Martha) was a Azalea tree, balloons and a cute Nora Bear. I miss you Nora, and love you so much.

My condolences to all of Noras family. I am truly sorry for all of your loss. I have truly loved working with Nora for over 13 years as her Lead care provider becoming her friend and most of all her welcoming my family as her own. I know that she is at peace now in heaven but not one day goes by that I don't think about her. I truly miss my Norbit. To the Seban family I would like to thank them for allowing me to work with her and having her in my life. I have truly become a better person because of her being in my life. RIP ANGEL AND ENJOY YOUR WATERFALL. I MISS YOU SO MUCH.????????
