Mr. Kenneth W. O’Neill

June 5, 1923 - July 5, 2018

Kenneth W. O’Neill born 6/5/1923 in Oakland, CA, passed 7/5/2018 in Cupertino, CA, at the age of 95. He lead a colorful life, as he traveled the world while in the Merchant Marines, US Navy and while working as an Engineer with Zoecon Corp. We will really miss his stories about his travels. He also enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and tinkering around in his garage.

He is survived by his son Dennis O’Neill and daughter-in-law Lenora, who took care of him the last years of his life, daughter Diane Gentilin (Bruce), granddaughters Lisa Derosier (Mike), Buffie Rice (Jeff) and Shelley Neir (Brian) great grandchildren Karissa and Paige Derosier, Hannah and Kiana Neir and Josiah Polland.

We were sorry to hear that Ken passed away. I had kept in touch with him by phone since we met at the 2008 O'Neill Reunion in Minden, NV where we met for the first time. New found cousins to the O'Neill family originating in Berkeley, CA. Will keep all of the family in my prayers. Hope sometime we can meet again. Rita O'Neill Hill and faimily

So sorry to hear of Ken O'Neill's passing. I believe we talked only one time a few years ago. I hope to hear from Dennis if possible. This is in regards to a DNA connection possibly. I do connect to Rita O'Neill Hill that lives in Nevada and was wanting to talk when possibly. Again, I'm sorry of your fathers passing last year. Rita spoke of him highly. So sorry to hear your dad passed a few months back. Not too many of us left anymore. If there is a big "Buzzin' Cousin" square dance happening in heaven our folks are having a wonderful time.
