Michimi Nihei, 81, of El Cerrito passed away gently surrounded by her family at her residence on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Mrs. Nihei is survived by her son Mark and his wife. Genie, three grandchildren, Cole, Caitlyn, and Cooper. She is also survived by a brother, Glenn and his wife Gayle and his family. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Michimi’s life on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset View Mortuary in El Cerrito. A private inurnment will be held at Sunset View Cemetery.
