Mei-Ling Choy Pastor

So sorry to hear of Mei-Ling’s passing. I just found out about it today. I worked with her for many years and was impressed with her positive attitude and her empathy with her clients. She carried a mentally ill case load which would have been challenging for many. After retirement we kept in touch and I saw her passion bloom for writing. I attended a reading of one of her stories about her childhood in San Francisco. Mei-Ling, I’m sure, will be missed by many, including me.

Mei Ling was a very special soul. She was there for all she met and worked with including staff and clients. She was a bright light at Probation and in her life. My condolences to the family. She was so very proud of you all and spoke of you often. I know that she will be celebrating her birthday in heaven with all her friends. She will truly be missed.

Rest In Peace, my long time friend Mei Ling at Probation Department. You’ve been my mentor from day one and always one of the best DPOs at the department. I enjoyed our exchange of emails updating our families and kids. You will always be in my mind and will be missed!

Rest In Peace Mei Ling. Memories of all the fun times we had at the Probation Department, sharing our experiences and helping one another when the need arose.
