Born in Oakland, California. Graduate of Berkeley High School, Berkeley, California.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Chan, daughter Judy Chan Tong, brothers David and Steven, sister Florence Wong, and nephew Kevin Wong.

Survived by children Michael Chan (Kieran) of Pleasant Hill and Donna Chan Brownrigg (Edwin) of Roseville, son-in-law Arnold Tong of Hercules, grandchildren Kathleen and John Chan, Ryan Tong (Wei Wei) and Jason and Christian Brownrigg, nieces Kelly Kirst and Kathy Wong and nephew Colin Wong.

Lily Lee was introduced to her future husband Wayne Goon Chor Chan by her Uncle Eddie Tong in 1947 and they were married the following year. Always maintaining her sense of humor Lily spoke often of her love of exercising by going shopping at the mall. She will always be remembered for her kindness and beautiful smile.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9th at Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Avenue, El Cerrito.
