I’ve known Leon most of my life - he and Rhoda babysat for me when he and my dad were grad students at Berkeley. I loved him and can’t imagine this world without his intelligence, humor, wide-ranging enthusiasms, and political acumen. He was the very first mensch I knew. I will miss him greatly, and I wish I could be with Rhoda and Ann at this time.

You taught me to never stop questioning and always nurture a curious mind. I will miss all the wisdom and humor you imparted to me and others. I will miss our dinners and Passover Seders at the Gruen’s. “Keep on Rocking”.
