Passed away on April 11, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Laurance F. Thomas and Ethel L. LaVeau Thomas and brother George R. Thomas. Survived by son Miles Newman (Veronica) of Medford, OR; former wife Taffie Newman; grandson Joshua (Brittany); great granddaughter Brooke; sister Barbara Thomas Lieberman (Harry J.) and numerous nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and great grandnephews.

Friends and acquaintances are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalen, 2005 Berryman Street in Berkeley.
