Laura Graham, AKA Granny G., AKA O.G. Granny G, 92 Native Californian, died Sept. 12, 2020 at home peacefully in Rohnert Park, CA
At her request, no service will be held at the cemetery. There will be a dinner on Sept 26th, 2020 @ 4pm.
Laura was born Jan. 09, 1928 in Richmond, CA to Walter & Hilda Morse.
Laura was an avid Native California plant person thanks to her Uncle Walter Blasdale, a Professor @ UC Berkeley. From Uncle Walter grew her love of the outdoors. She loved taking pictures of nature.
Laura spent many years in the Lioness Club. She loved volunteering for quite a few years on Turkey Day at the Vets Center Turkey Dinner , for the Xmas dinner at the Vets Center, the 4th of July Red White & Boom Penny Toss. She loved to make Valentines & Halloween treat bags for the Kids that went to the Living Room. A Non-Profit to help women with children get back on their feet. She sang in a Chorus group as well. She did all of these until she couldn’t any more.
Laura received many nick names from all the Grandkids & Great Grandkids: O.G. Granny G & Granny G. She was real feisty until the end, but would have done anything for her Grandkids & Great Grandkids.
Laura is survived by her daughter Lysa Son in-law Elwood, 7 Grandkids, 23 Great-Grandkids, Cousin Frank in MO, Numerous other kids that called her Granny as well.
