Kathleen Ann (Young) Anduiza

Kathleen “Kathy” Anduiza, resident of Concord, CA, formerly from El Cerrito, CA, passed away on January 21, 2022 after a decades-long battle with Muscular Dystrophy. She was 61 years old.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rick Anduiza, and their three daughters, Sara, Kari, and Kristi. She is also survived by her father Robert Young, brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Katherine Young, nephew Matthew (Katy) Young, uncle Richard Young (Betty) and cousins Jason and Christopher (Kelly), and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Valente Young.

Kathy devoted her life to her husband and daughters. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and gentle soul. She was loved by all who knew her and is deeply missed.

A small, private service will be held on Friday, February 4th, with a celebration of life to follow this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Kathy’s name to help other families who are fighting this disease.
