I recently watched the youtube videos where Julia met with several children [created by the channel "HiHo Kids"] and I was so incredibly moved by that. In the video, Julia was so generous, kind, and open in explaining her disease and prognosis to the children, and it was truly beautiful. One of her great bucket-list items was to meet Ellen - and I was so happy to find a video of that happening. I regret never knowing Julia personally. She was a pure soul and has brought me a lot of hope and gratitude today getting to experience a little part of her journey. I wish all of her family and friends much love as you move forward without having Julia's light in your life. May the power of her soul dwell in your hearts, and sustain you always.

Truly an icon and an advocate for mito patients and for chronic/degenerative disease patients as a whole; may her memory be a blessing.

Saw her story through hiho kids. What a beautiful beautiful soul. So strong and so brave. God bless those who she touched in life.
