I'm hoping you have found your peace at your last breath. I saw about yourself and your condition through Facebook post that you participated in a kids program. When I saw and heard about your condition I was instantly dropped my smile. My mind was blanked. I have a overthinking problem so I always think about something too much. You had many things that you are like to do in future if your illness was cured. But I think that you can more happily think about your next life and brand new bucket list that you will want to do..Sorry about my English, because this is my second language. I'm wishing deeply from my heart to find your happiness in your next life and not to face this type illness ever again. May lord Buddha bless you and wishing you have a very blessed life in future. May your parents find their peace too.. ❤️ I will plant a tree tomorrow at my land..

Like other recent commenters here, I learned about Julia from her Kids Meet episode that was recently re-circulated on social media. I also watched her appearance with Ellen and her Zoom follow-up with Kids Meet when she was in hospice. In all of them, I was deeply moved by hearing her tell her story and by the wisdom and kindness she showed. If any of Julia’s family members read this page, I hope it brings them joy to know that Julia’s life and words continue to touch people in the world five years after her passing.

Hi Julia. Hope you are doing great up there. Your video just appeared on my FB yesterday and I have been so stunned by your courage and presence. You are so, so, so sweet to those children who ask you questions about you and your condition. As a mother who have lost her baby boy from an unavoidable complexity caused by Trisomy 18, your words resonated so deeply with what I imagine my son would say if he were able to speak like you. Your smile still can give such strength and power to so many people, Julia. I am so sure your parents are incredibly proud of you. Thank you for having been born into this world. You are missed. Have a wonderful day up there while shining us with your beautiful smile.

Dear Julia, I came here also from the video I saw in Hiho in Facebook and was so sad to hear that the video was old and that you passed away 5 years ago… You will not be able tonight read it and I can only hope that your parents will be able to see her the condolences that I’m sure will be added here in great numbers I’m not getting emotional easily but you at such a young age was such a novel person and so inspiring, I can’t emphasize how I was so touched deeply from you the way you approached you life and was able to see the silver lining in your short life and still be so happy and kind and having a smile which most of us don’t poses even in such better parts of our life. I can only assume how your life have been turned and what An amazing life you could and should have to had… even in your death you are a living prof for every person out there that you have the ability to chose not you conditions, but you can choose how to approach those things. I’m not a religious person and I don’t believe in afterlife but after I saw your video I can only hope that there is, because you deserve it if not in this life but there in heaven, that you will keep shine your light as the angle you were from the Inside and the outside of who you were. Hello, Julia. I'm 18 years old—almost the same age as you were when you appeared on that video that everyone else who's here has probably watched. I thought it was a recent video, and I was praying things would be better for you. I just found out you passed away five years ago now. I hope you got to fulfill your bucket list of doing a shopping spree, spending time with a horse, and meeting Ellen. I hope you're now free of pain. You are still loved. Thank you.

Like many others this month, i too came across your video where you courageously speak about your condition so openly to children. You were and are a brave and beautiful soul. Your story has left a mark that continues to reach and touch others like myself even to this day. May you be at peace and surrounded by God's love and glory.

I have just come across your interview with kids. I feel devastated after hearing your story, but I loved your smile and your approach while talking about your illness. I really wish I had one fourth of your courage. Mom and dad, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You must be proud of Julia, she is absolutely amazing. I've just come across the kids interview with Julia and went on to see two more videos, including her appearance on Ellen's show. We knew this day would come and Julia would be called home but she left so much for those kids and for all of us who had the privilege to know her for a little bit and see what a wonderful young woman she came to be. This life is not the end and Julia will keep shining brightly beyond this world. We'll have the sweet privilege of meeting her again. Love you sweetie 🌸

I recently watched the youtube videos where Julia met with several children [created by the channel "HiHo Kids"] and I was so incredibly moved by that. In the video, Julia was so generous, kind, and open in explaining her disease and prognosis to the children, and it was truly beautiful. One of her great bucket-list items was to meet Ellen - and I was so happy to find a video of that happening. I regret never knowing Julia personally. She was a pure soul and has brought me a lot of hope and gratitude today getting to experience a little part of her journey. I wish all of her family and friends much love as you move forward without having Julia's light in your life. May the power of her soul dwell in your hearts, and sustain you always.
