Joshua passed away in his home on March 31, 2021. He was born in Oakland on July 3, 1988 and grew up in Albany, CA.
He made friends wherever he went due to his fun and kind nature. He was always the life of the party and his friends will remember his contagious laughter and beautiful smile.
His favorite hobby was fishing. You could find him either at the Berkeley Marina or other local spots fishing for bass. He had an adventurous spirit and always enjoyed seeing new places; always ready for a trip anywhere. He was truly selfless and loving and went out of his way for loved ones. He is missed and loved always.
Joshua is survived by parents Harold Castle and Valerie Homan Castle, brothers Christopher Castle and Hugo Palacios, grandmother Deborah Longmire, and life partner Vanessa Altamirano.
