Joseph A. Vigil, Jr. age 75 of Hayward, CA was born in Livermore, CA to Joseph A. and Guadalupe Mabel (Atencio) Vigil Sr. on July 3, 1941 and passed at the Bay Point Health Care Center on Wednesday March 22, 2017. Mr. Vigil is survived by his son Joseph A. Vigil III of Oakland along with 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings; Donald Vigil, Araminda Sandoval, Anthony Vigil, and Isabelle Arellano. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29th, 9:30a.m. at Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave., in El Cerrito followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 at The Sunset View Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset View Cemetery. Officiating will be Father Thomas Doyle.
