Jeng Min Wu was born on May 10, 1938 in Nantou, Taiwan. He was the eldest of 5 children. In 1958, he left Taiwan to study abroad in Korea. His academic excellence earned him a full scholarship to Seoul National University where he graduated with a Bachelors (1962) and Masters (1964) degrees in Law. He married KwiHwi Wu on October 30, 1964. He continued studying to pursue his PhD while also working for the Chinese Embassy as a cultural attache in Korea. He had two children; Sue and Jae. The family moved to San Francisco in 1969, and two years later he began his career in real estate and continued to practice for over 40 years. He became a grandfather in October of 1997 to Megan, and soon after he retired from real estate and became the official babysitter, math teacher, and chauffeur for her. During his free time, he enjoyed swimming 3 times a week, reading, listening to classical music and operas, traveling, cooking, meeting his friends for lunch, and napping.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all.
