It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Jeanne Lee Yeh on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Dearly beloved wife of 40 years to Jason Yeh, predeceased 2007. Loving mother of daughter, Nadine Chu Yeh Gilham, and son-in-law, Alex Gilham. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Jannifer, Katherine, Stephanie, Nancy, and Richard. Devoted Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Eldest daughter to John Mon and May Wan Szeto Lee on March 26, 1945 in Kunming, China. She grew up in Walnut Grove, CA in the Farmland of the Sacramento Delta after her father completed his military service with the Flying Tigers. She completed her degree in Business Administration at UC Berkeley and during her time there, she met her future husband, Jason and they wed in October 1967.

Jeanne became a powerhouse in real estate and established her own practice, Investment House Realty in Albany, CA for 40 years. She and her husband, Jason enjoyed flipping houses together so they can give people their dream homes. Although she was a successful realtor, her personal success was adopting her daughter, Nadine in 1995 and becoming a mother.

She enjoyed traveling, spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for family and friends, growing dahlias in her garden for the neighborhood to see, and watching criminal drama tv shows. She was a witty, generous individual who drew her friends and family into her circle of love. She will be missed dearly by all of us.

A service remembering her life will take place at Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530 on September 3, 2022 at 11am.

In 1983 I asked Jeanne Yeh to find for me a house near a bus line to the University of California at Berkeley, where I worked. She found a house on a quiet street one and a half blocks from a bus stop on the AC Transit 51 line. The deck in front of the house had rotted wood. Jeanne found a contractor to replace the deck. I wanted to pay for the house in ten years, not the usual thirty Jeanne drew up a payments schedule and gave one copy to me, one to the seller. I've been very happy with this house. I'm sorry Jeanne Yeh died. My best wishes and condolences go to her family.

Jeanne was an amazing, kind, generous person. Her dry sense of humor was classic and we would snicker like kids while together at school events. Both she and Jason were as good as human beings get.
