Thinking of Jacques and the many years of friendship among the French food professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jacques was unique in all aspects: A talented chef who was extremely hard working and who achieved success in the restaurant business all on his own. My father René was a good friend of Jacques and supplied French pastries to both of Jacques' restaurants. Jacques could be tough but balanced that persona with a wonderful sense of humor. Watching him working at lightening speed in his kitchens was an amazing experience. Merci Jacques pour tant de repas merveilleux! Reposez en paix. 🌹🌹🌹
