Irene Suzuki Tekawa

I am stunned to learn that Irene has passed away. We met in the early 1950s when her father, Lester Suzuki, became the pastor of the Berkeley Methodist United Church. Although her sister, Carol, and I were of the same age and became classmates and friends, it was Irene that I got to know and appreciate through the years. She was always kind and gracious and remarkably down to earth and robust. It was always a pleasure to see her through the years. I am saddened that she is no longer with us in this world.

Our sincere condolences to the Tekawa family. My mom, Fran Mori was a long-time friend & golfing buddy of Irene. She will miss her dearly.
