My parents both were so very fond of Hjordis! She worked with my mom for years as a docent at the Oakland Museum of California, and she and Jerry became dear friends. Mom and Dad especially loved Hjordis' sense of humor! I'm sorry to hear of her passing. Our family sends our prayers.

Hjordis was my Aunt and a very classy and extremely nice lady. When I made business trips to the Bay Area my colleagues and I took her out on the town and we had a wonderful time.
As a kid I would always look forward to the Holidays because her and my Uncle would always come up with interesting gifts from their travels.
She led a long and full life. Rest In Peace.
