Herbert F. Layton passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
He leaves behind his loving wife of almost 60 years, Sharon; children Andy, Ferdy, Jen, Wally, and Fred and their families; brother Winn; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Herbert was a native of Salt Lake City, UT and grew up in Albany. He attended Albany HS, UC Berkeley and Hastings Law School. He practiced law for 35 years and enjoyed the last 20 years in retirement.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 1 at 12:00 pm at LDS Hilltop Chapel, 4351 Hilltop Dr., El Sobrante. Interment to follow at Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito.
