Haruo Uyeda, 95 of El Cerrito, CA. was born in Japan on February 15, 1921. In 1960 her and her husband, Hideshi Uyeda migrated to the United States. She is survived by her son, Hiroshi Uyeda of Kumamoto, Japan; one daughter, Reiko (Shingo) Kamada of El Cerrito, CA. Two grandchildren, Stacey Kamada, and Allison (Andrew) Chung all of El Cerrito. One great grandson, Austin Chung. Mrs. Uyeda is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters all from Japan. She was a member of the Sycamore Congregational Church of El Cerrito. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at the Sycamore Congregational Church, 1111 Navellier St. in El Cerrito. Officiating will be The Reverend Kevin Omi and The Reverend Yasutaka Yoshioka. Interment will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at Sunset View Cemetery, 101 Colusa Ave., in El Cerrito, CA.
