Elaine Diane Kimoto died suddenly in her home on November 12, 2012. She was born in Yokohama, Japan to Tadashi and Fusako Kimoto. After her father’s retirement from the Dept. of Defense the family returned to the Bay Area in 1970. She loved to bake for her friends and family and enjoyed watching Japanese TV programs and videos. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and especially enjoyed going shopping.
She was predeceased by her father, Tadashi A. Kimoto. She is survived by her son Jason Kimoto, mother Fusako Kimoto, sister Shirley (James) Takeuchi, brother James Kimoto, niece Michi Theresa Bocobo and her children Branden and Mika’ela, niece Stacey (Frank Quintanella) Kimoto and nephew Kristian Kimoto.
Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of Elaine’s life at Sunset View Mortuary and Cemetery on Colusa and Fairmount Avenues, El Cerrito at 11:00 AM on Sunday, November 18, 2012.
