Dorothy Ferguson passed away on May 19, 2018 in El Cerrito, CA. Born in San Francisco, CA in 1934, Dorothy was a life-long California resident. She attended Lowell High School and then received her teaching credential from the University of the Pacific. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta along with her mother in-law and daughter. Dorothy used her teaching credential to teach kindergarten in San Diego; ultimately, she returned to San Francisco to work at Wells Fargo where she met K.S. Ferguson.
Dorothy and Scott were married on Dec. 28, 1963. Dorothy excelled at life with her family in Orinda, where she developed numerous talents.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of Scott and the adored mother of Amy and Kevin Ferguson. She is missed by her daughter in-law, Laura, and her grandchildren: Robert, Sean, and Paige.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Sunset View Mortuary Chapel, 101 Colusa Ave., El Cerrito.
