I am sad that we lost a dynamic and smart man. He was a selfless person who helped a lot of people in his journey through his life. Don was very active with the Ivy League Connection and was instrumental in the naming of the middle school in El Cerrito, Fred T. Koramatsu. He made my job as a school board member a lot easier. Our Gilman Grill crew will forever remember him ! RIP 🪦 Don We all are going to miss you now that you are gone.

I met with and picked Don to print the biography I wrote on Don Fisher, the found of the Gap Stores, "Falling Into The Gap." We became good friends, He then introduced me to Narsai David, whereupon I wrote Narsai's biography. His love of life, family, and work was all-encompassing and passionate. A wonderful and enriching personality that filled our surroundings with warmth, wisdom, and wit. I'm so sorry he's not here to edit my feelings for him. I share your grief and and love for this iconic teddy bear. .
