Don will be remembered for being a very proud man who loved his family unconditionally and who embraced life with every opportunity. He will be missed by many but memories of Don will live on. I was fortunate to grow up in El Cerrito and to have known Don Pryde. From the first time I met him as a little leaguer playing with and against Steve, Don was genuinely kind and always happy to be around us kids. The way he ran his business and the way he would always smile and greet me each and every time I had contact with him throughout my life was a good lesson in how I should treat others. What a great man. My heart goes out to the Pryde family.
