It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Wai King Wong. a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, born on January 11, 1944, who passed away on April 14, 2026.
She lived a life centered on connections, warmth and care for others. She was known for her deep love of her friends, many made through the Wong’s Family Association, often expressed through long late-night conversations that brought comfort, laughter and lasting bonds. Her devotion to her family and siblings was unwavering and she found her greatest joy in the people closest to her.
Her career as a skilled seamstress who crafted and altered countless garments for clients and friends, leaving a lasting mark through her care and attention to detail. She will be remembered for her kindness, countless trays of turnip cake, homemade dumplings and the meaningful relationships she built throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenny Wong and his partner Lee Jine and Ronald Wong and his wife Tammy Loh, her cherished grandchildren, Margot and Norah Wong and her siblings Kenneth, Peggy, On, Freddy and George. Her love and presence will continue to live on through them.
