I first met Cheryl when Bob and I shared an office as graduate students at LBL. Cheryl was a bright spirit who greeted you with a smile and a ready laugh. My heartfelt condolences go out to Bob. The passing of a life partner is a great loss. Treasure the many good years that you spent together. We will remember those long-ago times when we were all so young.

My condolences , Bob and Suzanne. I was so lucky to get to work with Cheryl as I started out in my library career. She was my mentor and my good friend. Kindness does not begin to describe her. So patient. Such a good sense of humor. And a sweet smile that made you feel at ease. Her caring shone through that beatific countenance!

Our hearts are filled with sadness over the loss of Cheryl. We all know how much she was loved and that she will be dearly missed. As I say, the Lord can take away a person, but he can never take away the love we have for them. I believe she will now be surrounded by beautiful flowers, birds, and kitty cats, which she enjoyed. Rest In Peace sweet Cheryl. Hugs of comfort to you, Robbie and Suzanne.
