Charles passed away on Thursday, March 23, in Walnut Creek. He was born January 3, 1962 to W. Mae Ritz and the late Alfonso C. Hernandez. Charles passed away on Thursday, March 23, in Walnut Creek. He was born January 3, 1962 to W. Mae Ritz and the late Alfonso C. Hernandez. He was raised in El Cerrito and graduated from Kennedy High School. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson with the sun and wind on his face.
He is survived by his mother, W. Mae Ritz, his stepdad, Richard, his daughters Katie Mae Hernandez and Megan Jackson. His sister Sheri Fuld, her husband Fred and their son Fred IV. He leaves loving relatives in Florida and many friends in the area.
We will always love and remember him for his generous caring and loving nature.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 15 at 11:00 am at Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Avenue in El Cerrito.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Acorn Branch of Children’s Hospital, 5700 Martin Luther King Jr., Way – T-2 Oakland, CA 94609-1673.
