Barbara K. Price passed away from natural causes on May 6, 2020. Barbara grew up in Milwaukee, played the flute in the marching band and orchestra, and graduated from Wisconsin State. She was married to Don Price from 1957 to 1980. She was a teacher for the deaf for several years before becoming a full time mom and being involved in her community as a school volunteer, Camp Fire Girl leader, and active member of the League of Women’s Voters. She lived in Berkeley for 15 years, and then settled at the Sea Ranch for about 30 years. She was an active participant in the Gualala Arts Book Club. Barbara was co-owner of the Candy & Kites Shop in Bodega Bay, Duncans Mills, and Gualala with Roma Robbins. Barbara is survived by her 3 children, Beth, Martha, and Douglas, and 6 grandchildren. She was a creative, inclusive, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will live forever in our hearts.
