Asako Yoshimine

Asako Yoshimine passed away peacefully on October 28th at the age of 87. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Shig, daughter Deborah and sons Michael and Kenneth (Tracy). Asako is also survived by her sister-in-law Yoshiko Kawamoto and several nieces and nephews.

Asako graduated from Armstrong Business College with a major in Accounting and then worked for Parke Davis in San Francisco. She lived in Richmond, CA for 22 years after getting married. She enjoyed having coffee with neighbors while her children were in school. She was a Girl Scout Troop leader and active in the PTA. Her last 43 years were spent living in Davis, CA. Asako enjoyed fishing, playing golf and watching the Giants and Kings. She looked forward to family gatherings and sharing the fruit and vegetables from their garden.

Asako was a quiet and kind person who will be missed. As she requested, there will not be a funeral service. Asako will be laid to rest at Sunset View Cemetery and Mortuary in El Cerrito, CA.
