I was very sorry to hear of Leta Ann's passing. I met Ann, who later started using her first name, Leta, when I knew her, Mel, Elaine, and Aaron. I remember when Aaron was born. He was SUCH as cute little fellow! I also remember when she moved away from Alameda to the pretty home they had purchased in San Pablo. Ann was a REAL Christian. She truly believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I know that is why he blessed her & Mel with such a lovely family. Ann did not have a very happy childhood, losing her mother at such an early age. However, she became a very WONDERFUL mother to her own children. I do believe she was a wonderful example to them as to what a real Christian mother should be. I want to tell them, to be faithful to the Bible that their precious mother believed so faithfully. May the Lord bless each one of you, and remember, when this life is over, Mother will be there with open arms to great each of you to the beauties of your Heavenly Home.

I knew Leta Ann in the 1950's and early 1960's. I remember when Aaron was born. We were once in a wedding together in Santa Cruz CA. I had been up the sweet home the Gilmores bought after they left Alameda. Leta was also very proud of her American Indian lineage. She REALLY loved the Lord and He loved her, too! So did most everyone she knew. I am sure she in with her beloved Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven today.
