Worked - all too briefly - with Mandy at Stockton in 2014. She was invariably a cheerful and dependable colleague and a credit to her profession and family. Always kind and skillful, Mandy was a credit credit to her profession. May her memory and example assuage your grief, and leave you only the beautiful recollections of the loved and lost. Mark Collins, CRNA

I worked with Mandy in the MICU in VT prior to her attending CRNA school. I remember attending a 2 day Cardiology conference with her in Stowe and we had so much fun getting to know each other on a personal level. She talked freely about how much she loved her husband and her dogs. A beautiful smile hiding so much sadness. A brilliant girl. I am so saddened.
Dear Ed, Praying for you! May you find peace and comfort today and in the days to come. I'm so thankful we had 30 years of fond memories and friendship. Mandy, my dear, dear friend, I love you and miss you! Lisa

The last time I really remember talking with Mandy was all about her amazing trip to Fiji. She sounded so happy and alive speaking about the lead up to the trip and afterward. I am glad that she had the joy and memories of a time well spent and with her husband. I will always remember Mandy from the many beautiful photos she would post in her favorite and bright Lilly dresses and hope that her soul will be at peace. I hope that as time passes, the sorrow we all feel right now will be replaced with wonderful memories of her and that we will keep her in our hearts and thoughts as time goes by. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew and loved her and for her family and husband who will have many difficult days saying goodbye.
Dear Teddy, May the words of the psalmist, "Be still and know that I am your God" console you, comfort you, strenghten you, fill the void in your heart with His abiding peace in your hour of grief reassuring you that Mandy whom you love is safe with Him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mandy's family. With heartfelt sympathy, Kamini, Viju, Jaitirth and Nayanatara Jacob

Dear Ed, I am not sure if you remember me, but I met you once at your home in Burlington. I went to nursing school with Mandy, though I didn't know her well then. Years after graduation from UVM, I received a phone call from Mandy. She had been so resourceful, having found me online! I had just started attending the Nurse Anesthesia program at USC in Los Angeles, and somehow she had discovered this. We spoke on the phone several times during our training, and shared clinical experiences and hopes for the future. Later, she joined our anesthesiology department in Burlington, Vermont. Mandy was enthusiastic and funny, and had so much energy! She was passionate in all areas of her life. Though she loved anesthesia, nothing was more important to her than your family. Ed, she loved you so much! Every time she mentioned your name her face lit up with love. Mandy and I also shared a deep love for our dogs and we shared many funny dog stories at work. I wish there were words I could offer that would soothe your pain. I am truly sorry for your loss! Mandy will always been remembered for her vibrant personality and great sense of humor. Please know that all of us in Vermont are sending our love and support. Sincerely, Erica Belida
Dear Teddy, Although I never met Mandy was so fortunate to meet you at Nanditha's wedding in Mangalore, India to hear from you personally and see in your eyes your love for Mandy. May this same love that brought you together, the memories shared strengthen you on in the days to follow. If you say you don't know, you don't understand, you have not experienced this hurt and pain, I have when I lost my parents, my husband and my brother Vernon your dear dad....I understand your grief and pain. As the days, weeks and months pass by, when you are all by yourself and seeking to find answers to the many whys may the Spirit of God bring His peace, joy and love in your heart by reflecting on St. Augustine's famous words, "our hearts are restless until they rest in you" to comfort you, strengthen you and help you keep Mandy's spirit alive in the hearts of all who loved her too and miss her now. Please accept my deepest sympathies and my prayers and thoughts are with you, Lois, Vernon Jr. Sandra & children and with Mandy's grieving family too. Yours in grief, A. Juliette
Dear Teddy, We are saddened to hear about the demise of dear Mandy. Our Hearthfelt sympathies are with you and Mandy's family. May God grant you the strenght to bear this great loss. With you in prayer. Joey, June, Pradeep, Vir and Varun
