We are sad to announce that Alan Young passed away on January 17, 2023 after a long ongoing battle with cancer, at the age of 74.

Alan Young was born in China to Lan Sen Young and Bak Fan Young on November 15, 1948. He moved to the United States with his family on December 28, 1966. Alan studied at the University of California, Berkeley. He began his career as an engineer at Bechtel. His success grew as an entrepreneur when he opened his own business Bay Area Design and Engineering. Bay Area Design and Engineering specialized in ventilation for hundreds of restaurants in the bay area and southern California for over 30 years. Alan was an excellent photographer and was a member of the Chinatown Photography Society. Alan had a passion for traveling and captured many photographs from all over the world.

Alan came to faith in the 90s. He was baptized on September 22, 2002. He is survived by his wife Christina Yeung and brothers Wallen Young and John Young.

In remembrance of Alan Young, we will hold a memorial service for him on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530. Viewing starts at 10 AM.

楊華正弟兄與癌症長期抗爭後，於 2023 年 1 月 17 日辭世，享年 74 歲。

楊華正弟兄於 1948 年 11 月 15 日在中國出生，父親是楊北桓 ，母親是楊李蘭仙 。他於 1966 年 12 月 28 日隨家人移居美國。華正就讀於加州柏克萊大學。他的職業生涯始於 Bechtel, 當時他是一位工程師。及後他開設自己的公司—灣區設計工程。 30 多年來，灣區設計工程專門為灣區和南加州的數百家餐廳提供通風系統設計服務。華正是一位出色的攝影師，並且是三藩市華藝攝影學會資深會員。他熱愛旅遊，並在世界各地拍攝了許多照片。

楊弟兄在 90 年代成為基督徒。他於 2002 年 9 月 22 日受浸。 楊弟兄雖已離開， 但他却是永遠活在親友心中，當中包括妻子楊玉梅，兄長楊華漢及賢弟楊華壯。

為紀念楊華正弟兄，我們將於 2023 年 2 月 10 日星期五上午 10:30 在 Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary 101 Colusa Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530 舉行追悼會。默念時間在上午 10 時開始。
