A longtime resident of Kensington, CA. Ginger died Jan 13, 2013 at age 83. She was born May 3, 1929 in Los Angeles. She graduated from Hollywood High School and UCLA, where she received a degree in Microbiology.
Ginger worked as a virologist for the California Department of Health Services in Berkeley for 40 years. After retiring from State service, she worked for BioVir Laboratories in Benicia.
Ginger especially loved fishing, skiing and traveling to remote and pristine places. She loved wildlife and wild places and generously supported many organizations dedicated to their preservation.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Margaret Eells Fox and her cousin, Judson Vandevere.
She is survived by her cousins Marion Norberg & Phyllis Mueller and by her close friend, Lynda Bradford.
Per Ginger’s wishes, there will be no services held.
