Steve G. Abeyta

Passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Emeryville, at 86 years of age. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and 62-year resident of Emeryville. Survived by his wife of 68 years, June Abeyta of Emeryville; daughters, Linda Donahoe and her husband, Jerry of South Riding, Virginia, Patricia Dominguez and her husband, Frank of Union City, and Marie Hotz and her husband, Tim of Concord; son, Steve R. Abeyta and his wife, Karen of Shelby Township, Michigan; brother, Arthur Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Stephen, Jeffrey, Elena, Rebecca, and Alisha; and great-grandchildren, Garrett, Mikayla, Gabrielle, Michaela, and Gabriel. Member, First Covenant Church, Oakland. Mr. Abeyta worked many years as a machinist in Oakland, retired.

Friends and acquaintances are cordially invited to attend funeral services Thursday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunset View Mortuary, top of Fairmount Avenue, El Cerrito; interment following, Sunset View Cemetery.
