In Loving Memory of
Stanley Mwathi Muturi
Sunrise: May 4, 1968 — Sunset: March 27, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stanley Mwathi Muturi, who was called home on Friday, March 27, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. He faced his final season with the same quiet courage that marked his entire life.
Stan was born in Githunguri, Kenya, where his roots and his character were shaped. He carried that foundation with him as he built a life in the United States, settling in San Pablo, California, where he became a cornerstone of his family. A hardworking man who provided for his family with pride, those who knew Stan knew a man with a ready joke, an easygoing spirit, and a deep, unwavering love for his family.
Stan leaves behind his beloved wife, Peris Njihia-Muturi, and their devoted children, Jessica Muturi and Jason Muturi, all of San Pablo, CA. He is also mourned by family and friends spanning both continents, from the hills of Githunguri to the San Francisco Bay Area community he called home.
He will be profoundly missed and will forever remain in the hearts of those who dearly loved him.
Stan fought the good fight.
He finished the race.
He kept the faith.
May he rest in eternal peace.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
