

Sik Lin Huey, 81, of Oakland, died Monday, January 30, 2017. Born in China, Mr. Huey came to the United States and lived in Texas where he worked as a butcher. In 1957, he moved to Oakland and opened up several businesses including a tropical fish store, laundromat and liquor store. A member of the Huey Association, Mr. Huey enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching t.v.
Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Kam Chun Yan Huey; children and their spouses, Mickey and Mae Huey; May and Percy Cheung and Tony and Jennifer Huey; daughter-in-law, Teresa Huey; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Huey, Randy, Colby and Stevy Cheung and Kaitlyn, Sabrina, Krystal and Jordan Huey. He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Huey in 1998.
Funeral service Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. There will be a funeral procession on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. to pass by Mr. Huey’s home and return to Sunset View Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
