Roy was a regular patron of the Hercules Library. Which is where I met him. He took me to lunch once and together ran an errand. I knew Roy for only a short time but I remember his humor and his wit. It saddened me to learn of his passing and my deepest sympathy to his family.

Roy was a frequent patron of the Hercules Library. Staff looked forward to seeing Roy everyday, helping him on the computer and listening to all his fun stories. He would share stories of his family and his life. He always had a container full of coins for printing out pictures of friends and family, that he would happily show the library staff. We will always remember Roy's laugh here at the library. He will be greatly missed. -The Hercules Library Staff

Roy enjoyed playing Mexican Train Dominoes with us at Sakura Kai. His enthusiasm was contagious and he celebrated his wins and losses with equal jubilation. We will miss his gregarious smile and roof-raising gusto! Rest in peace, dear friend.
