Roxane was born in Berkeley, California on New Year’s Eve 1951. She sadly passed away in Concord, California, 64 years later after a two-and-a-half year battle with breast and bone cancer.
A kind and loving soul, she was a mother, grandmother, sister and a friend. Throughout her life, she touched a lot of people and changed many lives. She is survived by her father Rick Small and great nephew Zachary Tyler Small, who she raised since the age of seven.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 14th at Sunset View Mortuary. Your support and love would be much appreciated in remembering such a kind and gentle angel. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. God bless.

Lit a candle in memory of Roxane Small
God loves all his children, but is especially proud of Roxane. All the warmth in the room and beautiful words spoken about Roxane's at her memorial were an attestment to the wonderful person she was; one who positively changed lives. It was one of the most touching and moving memorials I've attended. Uncle Rick and Zachary...you cared for Roxane every day, helping her move around the house, to the doctors and support group, feeding her, keeping her Meds straight. You are awesome to..She was blessed to have you both. Dena
