Poon Ma, 80 of Alameda passed away on April 3, 2016 at the Alameda Health Care and Wellness Center. Mr. Ma was born in China on September 15. 1935. Worked, Married, Raised the family in Hong Kong. After retired from his work in Hong Kong, he moved to United States with the family in 1991. He is survived by wife Siu Ling Chiu, one son Tony Ma and two daughters Shannon Ma Chang and Wai Chi Ma, all of San Francisco Bay Area. He is also survived by two brothers, two sisters, many nieces, nephews and their family members of San Francisco Bay Area, Taiwan and New York. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 on Tuesday, April 12, at the Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave., El Cerrito with the interment to follow at Sunset View Cemetery. After the Burial, lunch with family members and friends will be held around 12:30 PM at the Chef’s Wok, 1821 Webster Street of Alameda.
