Roy Backman, died in Oakland, December 23, 2018 at the age of 86.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Backman; brothers in-law, Charles and Walter Tonelli. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of Bloomington, California. A resident of El Cerrito for 60 years. He retired from Del Monte Foods after 30 years as a Market Analyst.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset View Mortuary Chapel, Colusa and Fairmount Aves, El Cerrito. Interment to follow at Sunset View Cemetery.
