Howell Vann Daly Jr., 84, of Kensington, CA was born in Dallas, TX on October 30, 1933 and passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 in El Cerrito, CA. He was a Professor Emeritus of the College of Natural Resources at the University of California at Berkeley, CA.   Mr. Daly is survived by his wife Barbara; 1 daughter Diane; 2 sisters Margaret (Ed) and Joan; 1 grandson Curtiss (Rachel) and 1 granddaughter Jenny (Matei); 7 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Sunset View Mortuary, 101 Colusa Ave., El Cerrito followed by the interment at Sunset View Cemetery.  Everyone is invited to a reception at Sunset View Mortuary immediately following the interment.
